Remember, today is the last day to get Early Bird pricing on my next Mystery, Holiday Retreat, a Holiday Medallion Mystery.  Holiday Retreat Medallion Quilt Mystery will start in the late August 2022.  This Mystery will feature the Studio 180 Design Corner Beam, Corner Pop, Square Squared, Wing Clipper, V Block, Tucker Trimmer and offers a variety of techniques.

Series starts in late August 2022 - But get in on the Early Bird pricing now! For more details visit my website.

  • The Holiday Retreat Medallion Quilt Mystery series will be a technique building series offering a variety of techniques.
  • Holiday Retreat is a tribute to all the places I've taught Retreats.
  • The Mystery is expected to start in the late August timeframe and run 16 weeks.  *The official start is dependent on my fabric selection delivery to shops.
  • LIMITED Fabric Kits, of both Michelle's fabric selections, are available at  THE YANKEE QUILTER
  • Each week Clues will take you step-by-step through  fabulous techniques across multiple tools.
  • Mystery will include 16 Clues (Step-by-step instruction) and Finishing Instructions.
  • There will be over 20 techniques shared throughout the length of the series.
  • Enrollment will open in mid-May.
  • Two Membership levels available for this series for nominal fees.  Clue Only or Clue and Class (see download for details and pricing).
  • For both Membership levels, the earlier you enroll in the series, the lower the price.
  • Since there are a lot of new techniques with this Mystery, the Clue & Class Membership will offer weekly step-by-step online videos that can be watched repeatedly, whenever you like.  More information in the download.
  • As always, each week, I will feature a mini-pictorial on my Blog and provide a couple quick tips for each week’s block(s), which will remain online.  However, the Blog will not have the detailed measurements, those are in the Clues, and the Clues will only be available through a membership.
  • Recommendation: For those needing/wanting additional help, I highly recommend the Clue & Class Membership Option which will give you that extra help with step-by step guidance.
For more details and to enroll in either of the memberships, visit my website.

For fabric selection, pull an even balance of color and pattern, leaving an even balance of color and pattern.

Here are the selections I made:

My strip selection from Paisley Rose

My strip selection from Bermuda Batik

This is also a great time as we approach the mid-point of the Mystery, and take a lot at all of your Blocks together and assess what colors/fabrics have not been represented yet.  Take a look at what Fat Quarters you have left to ensure you keep those in mind in the upcoming Clues.

My Blocks from my Paisley Rose

My Blocks from my Bermuda Batiks

That wraps up this week's Clue.  I'm off to Lancaster, PA for then next 8 Days teaching at Land Ahoy Lancaster, for Stitchin Heaven.  Can't wait.  Make sure to follow my Facebook page to see our progress!

Keep Stitching,
Michelle
