First Online Class Released and Preparing for Spring Quilt Market

I'm still fighting a bad sinus infection.  Thank you all for the well wishes.  I'm sorry about having to postpone Tutorial Tuesday.  I'm starting to feel a little better, and I'm trying to work my way through my to-do list. I'm preparing for Virtual Spring Quilt Market , most specifically my School House presentation.  I have a short bit during one of the Studio 180 Design's School House and then I have my own spot on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 12:50pm EDT.   For my School House, I'm talking to Quilt Shop Owners about selecting Block of the Month programs that work.  I've taken my Marketing and Industry knowledge and Lessons Learned from with working with some fabulous shops over the years.  Plus, some new ideas, that they could think about, in this Covid-19 world.  I think I have some great content and I'm hoping they will tune in.

New Online Class -Technique Building Series plus a Holiday Solstice update

Whew!  What a week.  So busy.  Unfortunately, there has been more rescheduling.  Plus, we had to cancel our Spring Getaway Retreat, in June.  We had hoped to pull it off, but with the Stay Home Stay Safe orders in VT, we can't host it.   Then, Fedex lost 6 boxes of my new pattern, Dogwood Lane.  So, I will be launching in next week, when I know it has made it here safely.  I normally offer pre-orders, but with the slow mail, I want to make sure it is here. I'm running late in posting and sending my newsletter due a packed schedule along with two color classes, yesterday afternoon and this morning.  Due to popular demand, I've offered another class.  Details are below.    I've also have an update on Holiday Solstice's schedule, below.  COMING SOON - ONLINE QUILT CLASSES With more and more events being cancelled, many of my teaching engagements have been cancelled.  Therefore, I'm in the process of recording some Online Classes.  They are time consuming to record

Fabric tips and more!

How is everyone doing?  I'm hanging in there.   Everyday,  I try and find at least one silver lining to this whole thing.  I joked earlier this week that at least I've used up all the unsalted butter in the house that always seems to multiple during the holiday shopping.  LOL!  I always pick up double the butter I need, since I never know if I have enough butter for baking.  But in all seriousness, there are positives out there, we just need to focus on those.   Like you, I have some good days and bad days.  With a lot of events continuing to get cancelled or postponed it is tough.  However, it is forcing me to attempted some more of my business stretch goals.   One of those stretch goals is to start hosting virtual and online classes . Maybe you are asking what is the difference ?  A virtual class is a real-time, interactive class , that is scheduled and attended within a specific time frame, via zoom.   An online class is a recorded class , that you can subscribe t
