Yeah!  The time has come to reveal Ticker Tape Parade!  I hope you all love it as much as I do!    More than anything, I hope you enjoyed the process and learned a Jelly Roll quilt doesn't need to just be a strip quilt! On New Year's Eve, I gave an advance partial Clue #8AP.  Make sure you download Clue #8AP , if you haven't already.   Plus, you will want to download today's Clue #8Final . Both will be available through next Friday, January 10th.    You will need both Clues!

Happy New Years!  Given that a lot of you may have New Year's Day off, I figured I would give Blog followers a jump start on Clue #8.   In this "advance" clue, I'm only sharing a partial piece of Clue #8, but it will give you a jump start on Friday's complete Clue #8.   I'm calling it Clue #8AP. First, I want to talk a bit about Grand Central Mystery Quilt Series, that is starting in just over 2 weeks, January 17th.    Grand Central In the Grand Central Facebook Group there have been a couple questions on Background.  So, I wanted to take a few moments and talk about Background.     For the Background: Pick something complementary with your Fabric , however it should have a high contrast to the fabrics you selected.   I plan to use White, but you should use what works best for your fabric.  

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers.  It has been a tough couple of weeks, but we are making it through.  It helped spending the last few days with these lovely ladies, I can't believe how big they have gotten. (Shared with permission). Lauren, Maddie, and Anna We've played games, sewed, reflected on great memories, and laughed.   I'm so proud of my nieces, I hope I can be as inspirational to them, as an Aunt and Godmother, as my Aunt Betty was to me.  We worked together on a new quilt pattern, Betty's Beauties, tribute to my Aunt Betty, that will hopefully release in the Fall 2020.
