Clue #3 has us heading to Vermont!
Clue #3, is Vergennes Vista! Make sure to read the entire post to get a sneak peak at an announcement!
The third location I held a formal retreat was at the Strong House Inn, in Vergennes, VT. I was thrilled to be asked to teach at Quilting in Vermont. I remember my first retreat there like it was yesterday, when in fact it was over 8 years ago. I started off teaching one retreat a year in November. Over the years, we started gradually adding more retreats. Now I teach there in November, March, August, and next year September will be added. It’s one of the smaller, cozier retreats that I teach at and is limited to 12 retreaters. We have tons of fun taking over the Inn. Quilting friends bloom over the years, with most of the retreaters coming back each year, and “checking in” with each other. I look forward to my Quilting in Vermont retreats and not just because of our trips to Daily Chocolate and Lulu’s Ice Cream Parlor.
Here is my fabric selection for both of my selections. For the dark, consider using a dark in a similar colorway as the Dark in Clue #2.

Take time to read the instructions check the detailed diagrams in the Clue.
That second trip on the side triangles tends to give quilters a tough time until they find the line, so I photographed here.
I like to keep my Side Triangles on the mat and then pick them up at one time, opening them up and putting them in their place.
Double check your orientation, a lot of quilters don't set these up properly.
Stitch the Left Side Triangle on first.
Then the right Side Triangle. Always sew with the Center on top.
Next is trim down.
How Tada! Love these little trees
Unit C- Is real easy, just make sure you keep a nice straight seam and press them straight.

Sew them into Columns and then the Columns together.
