Holiday Blossom Clue 2 is Holiday Diamond!

Fabric Selection - For this week's Clue we are looking for fabric that has a similar background coloring as your Background.  Ideally, it is multi-colored print represents all the colors in your quilt. 


The Diamond Rects technique can be a little tricky, but I have some great tips on this week's online Class.

Double the fun with Diamond Delight A and B! Clue #3 has us using (4) of the Holiday Diamond #1 and #2 from Clue #2.  Plus, we are going to use the same fabric that we used in from Clue #1, with one addition.  We are going to select another dark fabric, to create the new to the series technique, Square-in-Square. A New Deb Tucker Pattern for our Northern Neighbors!

The 2nd pattern we test drove at the Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor's Retreat was Deb's Tucker's Northern Neighbors.  This is another pattern she plans on having out in a few months.  It was really neat. Plus, you don't need to go with the traditional Canadian Maple Leaves if you don't want to.... several of us Certified Instructors took it in several different directions.  Here are a few examples.
