Wedge Star Ruler

You will want to familiarize yourself with the Wedge Star Ruler.  There is a small line at the top of the ruler that you will want to use when cutting your Wedges.

Check your 1/4" seam

Make sure to double check your 1/4" seam.  You can do this with the magic wand or other 1/4" tools.   I like the Sewing Machine Seam Guide.

When working with dark background, I suggest you use Dark Grey thread.

Give it a good press.
