Let's head back to PA and visit Shippensburg

Let's head back to PA and visit Shippensburg!  Clue #9 is Shippensburg Swirl!

A special group of “regular” Mid-Appalachian Quilters requested their local quilt shop (ShippenStitch) in Shippensburg, PA, have me teach at their Winter Retreat in February 2020.  I taught Majesty Lemoyne and Moonlight Garden.  They had a fabulous Show and Tell and we had a delightful time in a really unique setting.  The building was a converted musician/artist gallery.  It was the first time I’ve taught from a stage.  Great times!  We were in the process of planning for me to come back in 2021, but unfortunately with the pandemic, that did not happen.  I look forward to going back soon and stitching in Shippensburg.

Fabric Selections- You will need 6 fabrics, and I recommend using the same dark fabric or similar that you used in Clue #8 and the same Medium II and Medium Dark that you used in Clue #6.

Take your time cutting, but everything is straight forward.  Make sure to check your remnants, as I used some remnants from my homework.

We've made all these units before, so if you need additional help, make sure to look back at previous Blog Posts to see detailed tips.

This block will come together easily.  Press toward the Half Square Triangles and then you can work the nest when sewing them into rows.
Tada!

That wraps up this week, thank you for your patience!

Keep Stitching,
