Progress on my Loco for Lemoyne Star Samplers

It took me longer than I thought but I was able to get my Loco for Lemoyne Star Sampler completely pieced.  It is ready for quilting.  This one is going to Pennington Quilt Works where I'm teaching this 2 day class on February 28th and March 1st.
 
I also pieced a second set of blocks, from Kaffe and solid stash (which is a great way to use up stash) and set it with a different setting.  I still have to put the blocks together, this is just a picture from my design board.
 
 I made this using Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design's Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler and 6 technique sheets.

    what do you mean by 6 technique sheets? I do have the ruler and am thinking of taking the class. I love the pattern! Is it considered med beginner?

      never mind...I saw the description on Penningtons page. It looks a bit more complicated than I can do I think.

      Nancy, it really isn't hard if you are a recent cutter and piecer. The instructions have you produce slightly bigger and cut down. Giving you perfect blocks. You should give it a try.

The 2nd pattern we test drove at the Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor's Retreat was Deb's Tucker's Northern Neighbors.  This is another pattern she plans on having out in a few months.  It was really neat. Diamond Delight is twice the delight!

Double the fun with Diamond Delight A and B! Clue #3 has us using (4) of the Holiday Diamond #1 and #2 from Clue #2.  Plus, we are going to use the same fabric that we used in from Clue #1, with one addition.  We are going to select another dark fabric, to create the new to the series technique, Square-in-Square. Atlantic Flyway Class Sample

Woo Hoo!  A little productivity this weekend.  I was able to complete the piecing of my version of Atlantic Flyways for my February Class at Yankee Quilter ( www.yankeequilter.com ).  I'm hoping to get it quilted in the evenings this week (might be a challenge) and to drop off. I'm giving a Wing Clipper demo at Yankee Quilter this Saturday.  They have Flying Geese in their Block of the Month and have asked me to come demonstrate how to use the Wing Clipper.  I hope to have the Signs of Autumn Table Runner and Atlantic Flyway completed to show. Stashbuster #2 Turning Up Pumpkins

It is StashBUSTER Tuesday!   Once again, I've partnered up with some fabulous quilt designers for Quilt Block Mania !   I have a bunch to share today; new pattern that is launching, a new class, and a free Block download! NEW PATTERN RELEASE I adore this month's Stashbuster Quilt, Turning Up Pumpkins .   Turning Up Pumpkins You can make this fabulous quilt with stash, scraps, or new  fabric.   The pumpkins are made with 10-11 Fat Quarters. I selected Moda's Fig Tree's All Hallow Eve and then supplemented with a few older Moda Fat Quarters.  The setting blocks are made with yardage; 1 yards darker gray and 1/2 yard lighter gray.  Add 2 yards Background and a fabulous border and you are all set! This is the perfect Fall pattern design, you can use similar-in- color Fat Quarters to make up your Pumpkins (or even Apples) .  You could even go with Halloween theme fabric and make this more of a Halloween quilt.    You don't have to use gray for your setting, as black f
