Alternate Settings for Best of the 60s!

I'm loving the finished quilts that I'm seeing in the Best of the 60s Facebook group. I love that many of you are making it your own.  I would totally be doing that myself.

Here are some alternate settings that you may want to consider.

Modern Setting without a Traditional Border

You may want to consider increasing the size of your Inner Border.  If you purchased Border Fabric, you can always use it down the center of your backing.

Remove the Billboard Blocks
If you wanted a cleaner look, you can always just use Background as Setting Triangles between blocks.  You could take your Billboard Blocks and create a fabulous Baby Quilt.

Use a Darker Background Fabric for Setting
Use a fabric with a good amount of value difference than your Blocks for your Setting Background. .  Again, those Billboard Blocks would be great as a Baby Quilt.

Use a Darker Background Fabric for Setting and Top of Billboard Blocks
Use a fabric with a good amount of value difference than your Blocks for your Setting Background and replace the top of your Billboard Blocks with the same fabric.

Replace Traditional Border and use as your Setting Triangles and Inner Border
Instead of using your Border in a Traditional manner, use it for your Setting Triangles and Inner Border.

Just a few ideas!  I can't wait to see what you all come up with!
